Basic Instrumentation Training in Puerto Rico: Hands-On Courses Available
At TriNova, we believe in empowering our customers through education. We are proud to announce a major milestone: our Puerto Rico division successfully hosted its very first Basic Instrumentation Training Class! The class was held on April 23-24, 2025, at the Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico (CIAPR), a renowned center for engineering excellence. Participants engaged in two full days of learning, hands-on exercises, and technical discussions.
About the Course
The Basic Instrumentation Training (Course I-101) is a 16-hour program designed to give maintenance and engineering personnel a strong foundation in instrumentation. The curriculum included:
- A review of essential instrumentation technologies, terminology, and symbols
- Basics of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and wiring techniques
- Overview of how instruments communicate within industrial systems
- Hands-on training in Level, Flow, Pressure, and Temperature instrumentation
A Milestone Worth Celebrating
Our participants came from a wide range of industries, eager to sharpen their skills and advance their careers. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees highlighting the balance between classroom theory and hands-on practical work.
As Puerto Rico’s industries continue to evolve, TriNova is committed to supporting the development of a highly skilled workforce ready to meet modern challenges. “Seeing the engagement and excitement from the students was incredibly rewarding. We’re honored to play a part in strengthening Puerto Rico’s industrial sector,” said Ricardo Valdes, TriNova Puerto Rico. We are excited to continue building a community of skilled technicians who can drive operational excellence across the Caribbean region.
