High School Instrumentation Training at TriNova: Building the Next Generation

This summer, TriNova proudly hosted two Basic Instrumentation classes for local high school students, marking another successful year of our annual program. These classes offered an incredible opportunity for young minds to dive into the world of instrumentation, providing them with valuable hands-on experience and a glimpse into potential career paths.

The high school Basic Instrumentation class is an integral part of our summer offerings, designed to educate students throughout Mobile County about our industry and the critical role instrumentation plays in the workforce. Through this program, we aim to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators, fostering a passion for technology and engineering among high school students.

Hands-On Learning Experience

One of the standout features of our program is the hands-on training component. Students had the opportunity to interact with and power up various instruments on our PTU (Process Training Unit). This practical experience is invaluable, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting. By identifying and working with actual instrumentation equipment, they gained a deeper understanding of how these tools are used in the industry.
