The uninterrupted seat BOS Valve is desirable for extended service applications such as high cycles, high pressures and high temperatures. BOS-US valves are excellent choices for continuous modulating control, dead-end service, and vacuum service to 24″ Hg. DeZURIK 2-20” BOS-US Resilient Seated Butterfly Valves feature a one-piece body; one-piece shaft and high-performance resilient seats made of EPDM or NBR. The uninterrupted seat design provides bi-directional shutoff to the full rating of the valve in 2-14″ sizes. BOS-US sizes 16-20” shut off to the full rating of the valve on the non-seat side, and to 125 psi (860 kPa) on the seat side of the valve. They are available as lugged or wafer bodies, with nickel plated ductile iron, 316 stainless steel or aluminum bronze discs. BOS-US Resilient Seated Butterfly Valve in sizes 24” (600mm) and larger feature a seat bonded to a solid backing ring.
