DeZURIK Coal Burner Isolation Knife Gate Valve (KCI)

DeZURIK Coal Burner Isolation Valves (KCI) close off pulverized coal burner lines during maintenance shutdowns, providing increased safety by reducing the risk of fires and accidents. DeZURIK KCI valves exceed the NFPA standard of 50 psi (344kPa) internal explosion pressure.

Either an integral or removable and rotatable hard-faced seat ring is available. The removable hard-faced seat ring can be easily rotated or replaced, reducing time spent on maintenance. To withstand abrasion or corrosion, DeZURIK Coal Burner Isolation Valves feature valve bodies and gates of carbon steel or 304 stainless steel. Other options include a stainless steel rising or non-rising stem. Handwheel and Chainwheel operated valves have a bronze yoke sleeve that provides easy actuation and additional resistance to corrosion and wear.

Available in sizes 6-24″(150 – 600mm), DeZURIK Coal Burner Isolation Valves can be equipped with manual or powered actuators, including handwheel, chainwheel, pneumatic cylinder or electric motor. Flange drilling options include ASME 125/150, NFPA 8503 1997, or Babcock & Wilcox.
